I noticed that my car was slower to start just before replacing. The car would 1/3 times take a few cranks to start rather than firing immediately.
As soon as swapped in the fresh pump, the car fires immediately every time.

Not the first car I've had that was over 10 years old and needed a new fuel pump.

Why bother with oem replacement when 105$ buys you a walbro tia485 pump that is twice as good as stock and is an easy mod to install?

32, this is interesting to me. Is the swap to the walbro tia485 simple? any difference in installation between using the OEM and the walbro tia485?
