i'm just a lil tyke and yet i still don;t get what folks issue with the height of the center console is..but then i haven't seen the fx riser in person either. i have no issue with the center console height as is.. and if/when i do i just adjust the phone book.

Same here, I'm fine with the center console height. No issue for me

It's worth sitting in a car with this done. You'd be surprised how much better it feels.

i can't disagree, in fact. i bet that could be said about 1/3 of the parts i've talked myself out of buying! actually i like all that function first stuff. sight unseen.

I have the console riser kit and still can't find a comfortable place to rest my arm. As of now, it usually rests in the little area between the emerge brake lever and the ashtray on the console. I wish the rear storage lid came forward another 6", like my 944.
The riser kit is nice in that it raises the shifter up and envelopes you a little more in your seat.
