Help me decide on new wheels
Want to go back to 18" since the roads here aren't great.
Deciding on OZ Alleggerita HLT 18" Silver or Forgestar F14s.
Read tons of reviews and can't decide. It'll be around $1400 no matter what. What do you guys think?

hmm, that's a tough one.
Pros of Alleggerita: they use oem wheel bolts, I think they are slightly lighter
Pros of F14: Can be ordered to your desired width and offset for perfect fit
I also agree with above that the F14 appears larger since spokes go out to edge of rim. Which one do you like more?? I'm running OZ on the 996TT and Forgestar (CF10) on my CTT. I'm happy with both. I feel like the OZ's offer an oem fit & finish.
I assume you are on 19" now? What size tires?

F14's all the way...

i've had both, and for me it's OZ ALL the way. they are MADE for our cars w 5x130 and you don't need those dumb hub insert rings and the wheel holes are made to fit OEM TUV certified lugs.
trust me on this one.

I know Mark had some challenges with his F14s and those crappy lugs, but I've had 18" Forgestars on my car for a year now, (but only about 4K miles) and have zero issues with those silly hubcentric rings and aftermarket tuner lug bolts (sourced from World Motorsports not Forgestar given their reputation for crappy lugs). Almost all my driving is in the canyons too...so same wheels, similar driving style, two different experiences...

i agree sean, the hub rings were never part of the issues i "had" it was as simple as too much torque to an rwd setup car in off camber extreme corners. at least thats all i've been able to to narrow it down to. but i also am certain i would never have had ANY problem just driving around street/canyons with forgestars lugs had extreme conditions didn't meet head on a lot lol. the pure and simple fact is the lugs and the wheel lug holes on forgestar 18's are dissimilar and that isn't cool.
this is not the case with oz and oem lugs.

Only issue is having to use 2t types of lugs for different wheels.
Would be happy to weigh them both to compare as they have same tires on em? I'm curious and will do it to see anyway.
