The finish is basic silver. It's not a bright 'brilliant' silver and looks a bit grayish in non-direct sunlight. I would have preferred a lighter silver but this works just fine, they're not dark enough to be confused as color matched to the seal gray.

I had a detailed discussion with Modbargains so as not to confuse silver (what I wanted) with gunmetal (darker), so I did get what I ordered.

I like them both. I might lean to the OZ.

Why not 19"? What are the benefits of new 18" wheels over stock (other than looks).? I would like more tire choices but that seems to only come with 19".

Only issue is having to use 2t types of lugs for different wheels.
Would be happy to weigh them both to compare as they have same tires on em? I'm curious and will do it to see anyway.

agree, as long as your lugs are conical ( as you correctly bought! ) the f14's should be fine under ANY conditions! i got them primarily because so many folks use them as track wheels!! it was my own naiveté and lack of proper instruction from the reseller ( they didn't give a sh*t! ) that no one informed me in advance of the potentiality of the issues with the holes NOT being made specifically for conical lugs! but man.. had i known!! but guys are running f14's on 'stangs and camaros! and who knows what all else.

the oz allegerita's are at least porsche specific, so no issues out of the box.

i went thru living hell with the f'star/lug situation. but that was then.

car is really "made" to run on 18's. not that it wont RUN on 19's but you can expect rubbing and a harsher ride etc etc.

when in doubt? see 996 gt2.

Good choice. Ran them on my Z06 I recently sold. Loved them. Great wheel (with very good looks) for the money.

Just put them on! Love them. Putting H&R springs on this week to reduce the wheel gap. New rubber is like driving a new car.

I'll get some better photos but here's one.

sweet! Not only will the springs lower the wheel gap, they will lower the center of gravity, car will feel more like its on rails, and not so floaty. You will need an alignment. Go to someone with a Hunter and give them custom settings. Mine is dialed in and sits lower than a GT2 or 3. Email me for the correct settings.

Car is engineered and the suspension is designed around 18s.
