The closest would be bilstein b8 non pasm which is a sport version designed to be used with a lowering spring, ie the x73 without the porsche pn.

Yup, I'll most likely being doing the B8s with H&R springs to get a close to X73 specs as possible.

Good job. I just did the same on my 2001 TT. I paid $1200 for all four shocks plus $2400 in labor. Plus I paid $900 on the shock mounts which was highly recommended. Yu did well for $500.

Very interested in your review of the B6. Is it firmer than the stock set-up? official data states it retain the ride comfort.l

$2400 for labor sounds like a lot. I was under the impression it only cost $1000.

I might have overpaid on the labor. Yes it does ride stiffer as compared to the stock. just imagine you are putting five or more psi in your tires. Bumpy! Not sure if it's really worth the money unless you use it on track or drive fast all the time!
