Default Electric spoiler kit. About to install

Hi all
If anyone has any advice about the Rennkit, please let me know.
I am compiling the tools needed, and hope that this is a superior solution to the original ( which I will
Keep in case).

Love to hear if anyone has experience with the spoiler lift kit

Thanks

Tom

I installed the 4" kit myself a few months ago. It works perfectly. Read and follow the direction exactly. Do this and you will have no issues. If you realize you can't handle the install have a professional mechanic do it.

If you are at all handy the eRam kit is very straight forward to install. I have had the kit on my car since last April and installed it myself in less than an hour. Make sure you follow the advice about covering the engine when you do the install as you will drop something (i did for sure) and it will be hard to find/get to if it drops into engine. If you have any questions Dave is great and will answer quickly.

eRam... Rennkit... I was about to ask what they are, but Googled them first.

Is one better over the other. My wing gave a warning light on the last drive, but worked fine on the return trip home. I think it was just cold from sitting in the garage.

Or... what's your thought on just putting a GT2 wing on the back.

Stan - E-ram and Rennkit are one and the same. My Misha GT2 wing actually goes up and down as it's mounted to the OEM rams. I am going to buy the Rennkit eRam system and mount my GT2 wing on it. I expect to do it soon but just got hit with a huge repair bill on my son's X5 so will have to wait a few more months. Let me know if you buy one and I'll bring the beer for a wrench session to install it.

This car seems to love more downforce (shocker). I put the extended one in.
After 85+ mph the car felt flatter, more nimble response and even better balance. Pretty cool.
A clear improvement.

wow, you can actually feel the down force difference. Are you comparing it to a non functioning spoiler?

I'm comparing it to the original spoiler height. I did also add two new rear tires as well but the extended spoiler height is no doubt a plus on this car at speed.

Thats pretty impressive, l'd be interested in this as well if this has much more down force and not upsetting the aerodynamics.
