I'm considering upgrading my rear lights to LEDs. Does anyone know of a quality brand that manufactures these for our car and is a direct plugin that does not require modification?

i got the ecs tuning kit all inclusive. all worked well for a cpl years now. very bright

sorry read that in "interior". i went with the del rey customs for rears and a brand i cannot recall for the 3rd in clear. was 99 bucks.

Wow! $99!? Are they good quality?? That price just sounds too good to be true. I want to swap them with a quality LED tail light if there is such a thing or i will just stay with the stock lights.

I think he meant the 3rd spoiler light was $99. LED tail lights are closer to $999.

I did a bit of research this evening. Most of the LEDs look cheap and bad quality, i cannot justify replacing them with an inferior part from Taiwan or somewhere close by. I would never install that type of equipment on my car regardless of the cost. I'm going to stay with the stock lights for the time being.

this place is hilarious. very few participants are able to discern irony.

it IS funny, except it borders on portentious., in that people really aren't getting any brighter. the led bulbs are brighter in fact.

I don't think this case has anything to do with the OP being bright or not. If he did not read most/any of kcattorney's posts on other threads (which is very possible), he would not know that kcattorney in fact likes LED lights and was being sarcastic in this thread. Not everyone reads everything on here, you know.

To this point, I'm surprised nobody flamed the OP to use the search function. I'm still on the fence on the led tail lights not because I don't think they look great or work well, because they do. It's more from the desire to keep it OEM
