Guidance on value of my 996TT X50
I've been getting a bit of an itch for another Porsche. I haven't decided whether I want to keep my 996TT X50 or sell it to fund the upcoming acquisition. Much of the decision depends on what I could realistically get for it. I would really appreciate wisdom from you guys on this.
2003 911 Turbo
Manual transmission
48k miles
No accidents
Polar Silver, Graphite
X50
Aero Kit
Small Carbon Package
I've spent quite a lot of money on upgrades and maintenance in the last 7k miles:
Welded coolant pipes (about a week and a half ago)
Installed Ohlins R&T coilovers plus drop links, front monoball camber plates and rear thrust arm bushings.
Updated GIAC K24 tune
New clutch slave cylinder and accumulator
New spark plugs
New battery
New MAF sensor
Completed 4 oil and filter changes
The front splitter is an unpainted ebay part, but I also have the body color Aero Kit part that came with the car.

I think you get a lot more money if you revert it to as close as stock as possible (disclosing the tune obviously) and sell the aftermarket parts on the side

Looks solid and somewhat rare, esp since it's an X50 and it has an aero kit. I haven't seen too many of those around when I was looking.
$52k would be a good starting point IMHO as a seller.

Probably sell in the mid $40k range if there is no paint work and PPI is clean. Bringing it back to stock will get you the most money for sure. GLWS

Another for asking $50k. Its coming up to a good time to sell. I have a pristine stocker that I have advertised for high 40s for months. I knew that I wouldn't get many bites until spring and now after little interest, I am getting offers and looks. Still most of the offers are low 40s and I probably wouldnt' sell mine for less than mid 40s. You could ask low 50s and prob sell at high 40s or 50k. I would also convert it to stock as others have said. I personally wouldn't buy a modded car, not even one with a tune preferably.
