Not to throw a wrench but back in 2014 no one was able to get the GT500 over 187 - 190

I have a soft spot for mustangs. I got to race the Discount tire #22 car, a factory fr500r for a season in the mustang challenge. Super fun to race and a very durable race car! Carried itself really well on the mandated 275 BFG slicks. Most of the newer blown cars spent between DE sessions with ice bags in there hoods, but stoked to see the owners running them hard

My last car was a SN95 Steeda Mustang. I miss the immediacy of that car. I scared many passengers with the torque and supercharger hit. My 996tt is a much different experience. Both have their charms and disappointments.

What disappointments does the 996tt have?

Vs. the Steeda Mustang - cost and ease of maintenance. But I knew that when I bought it.

I also had a heavily modified SN95 Mustang, have a '92 Fox in the garage now and have never sold my '66, so I too have a soft spot in my heart for them.

When I was looking to replace the 964T, I look at the GT500's very carefully, but in the end chose the Porsche.

That is a sweet ride you have.

Lol. The GT350 handles like it's on rails. It's an imperfect car in many aspects, but performance and handling are not among them.
