Smile EVOMSit Tuning now $995

Hi guys -
Just wanted to share what our pals at EVOMS sent us this week. We have been using EVOMSit software exclusively since 2007 for all our tuning projects and customer cars and this is the first time they've reduced the pricing on any of the products.

The new price for custom 996 Turbo, X50, Turbo S and GT2 tuning is $995. We are able to flash ECUs the same day they are sent to us so if you'd like an easy 75 HP you can send it in. We can also remap throttle for better response and tune for different octanes, elevations and aftermarket parts if specified (stock K16 or K24 turbochargers at this time).

If your spark plugs have over 25,000 miles or so, be sure to install a fresh set of Bosch FR6.

You can bring us the ECU in person or contact us about sending it in (info@sharkwerks.com / 510-651-0300). Here is a guide showing how to remove the ECU from your hardtop or cabriolet Turbo.

Return shipping price would depend on quick you'd like it back (roughly $65 for next day air in the USA).

I do understand the return of investment required for developing the tune, but damn, 1000 bones seems a tad steep no for a decade old computer remap.

I agree, it's a lot of money. I don't make the software and I'm not sure how they calculate their margins etc and what's required to run their business. But I know it does make a huge difference on these cars and there may be cheaper options on the market (to be honest I'm not sure of the others), and I do trust EVOMS with our customer cars and still recommend them over the others that I haven't heard of / haven't seen their test cars etc.

I have this and it is fantastic. $1k for 75HP is pretty cheap in the car world.
