Default Seriously thinking about this car

Would love to know people's thoughts. One thing I noticed was that the pads and tires haven't been replaced as far as I can tell from the carfax. I have already inquired with the dealer.

What do you think of the price?

Overpriced IMO by about $10-$15k

You are almost in 997 territory

I paid 40k for 26,000 mile 2 owner, well documented car that just had its coils and plugs changed before purchase. Stealarship is asking a premium on a car they prob paid $35k for.

55k Edit I actually agree with Dock but 55k would probably buy the car= the days of buying a nice clean very low mile car for 45k are over.

Not anything to be concerned about, but I wonder how the driver's side floor mat can be so thoroughly worn in less than 14k miles. It's a cheap fix (a new mat), but it makes me scratch my head wondering how significant wear could happen in so few miles.

Wow good eye's. I was so busy looking at the seats about two inches from the screen to see about scuffs that I didn't even notice the but mats but not a big deal.

Also given the age still good to run 3/4 HPDE events in the car? I'm really scare if something goes that I'm looking at $3K right away. Can someone run the VIN? Obviously try to get PPI before purchase.

Heel damage? You would think the dealer would replace before pics.

IMO, no problem at all.

On the other hand, I'd never do that to such a nice low mile 996 Turbo.

If you look at the porsche minisite for that dealer you can see the autocheck for that car. Not the same as carfax but there is some info there.

PPI in that area doesnt seem easy. I contacted the most highly recommended shop from this forum and they offerd me a 1hr PPI which I feel isn't enough.

thats way high IMO. i wouldn't pay more than $45k for a 996tt unless its an s or x51 car, and even than low $50's IMO

guys saying its a good price or its worth it IMO only say so because they want to believe there 996tt is worth more than what it really is.

Not me for sure. My car isn't for sale, nor will it ever be for sale as long as I'm alive.

The market for excellent condition very low mile 996 Turbos is driving up the prices for these kinds of cars, and in a big way. There just aren't many available. Supply and demand.

there a ton of cars on the market that have 60k miles and less. unless its a very high milage car that has been abused these engines are pretty bullit proof.

not much difference in a 25k mile car and a 60k mile car if they have both been maintained
