That 928 really looks good. I like a clean engine compartment as well. Some don't understand why I keep my engine compartment as clean as the exterior when no one can see it. My response to them is that I can see it.

That 928 engine bay is top shelf.

I also detail my engine compartment. Having a clean/detailed exterior and interior only to have junk in the engine compartment doesn't make sense to me.

Proper cleaning fluids, rags, brushes, compressed air and elbow grease.
Looks great and you can't believe how easy it is to maintain. Also you don't get dirty working on the car The bottom of the 928 looks the same. I'll have to address the 996TT although it looks really nice already.

I wipe everything down that I can get a damp rag on every time I wash the car. All the painted areas that I can get to have been polished with P21S Paintwork Enhancer and then waxed with P21S wax, including all the hinge work. All the hoses that have smooth surfaces, including the boost hoses, get One Grand E.V.R. Dressing. The aluminum pipes that I can reach get polished with P21S metal polish. I have been known to use Q-Tips when needed.

Ditch the 997 wheels, buy these! No affiliation. I'll bet the 997 wheels are worth more too!
