+2 I just switched out some dished foose 3pc for OEM hollow spokes, much cleaner. That being said, I really don't think the 997 ones are that bad. If you like them run them and wait for a good deal on stockers to save for if and when you ever sell it.

You have a 928 and the wife has a 996 turbo. Either this is some elaborate plan for you to buy another Porsche or you are seriously underestimating just how awesome this car really is.

Either way keep the wheels if you like them rennlisters are notorious for wanting people to spend money.

A set of 996t original twists would look great.

Atrox lol. I have had other 911s and the TT will be nice to have and drive, but it is her car as she wanted the tip and a cab.
I actually wanted a 928 for the GT aspect and now fitted with the Rotrax Supercharger it drives like a modern car. It is also 1 of 1. Only one ever made from the factory in the Zyclamrot color and is quite coveted.
Way I see it I now have the best of both

So what if he sells the 997 wheels and has enough money to buy OEM 996 Turbo wheels with money left over?

I think the 997 wheels look great on the car. My vote is to keep them.

Beautiful cars(s) - congrats!

I think I'm going with the consensus here - lose the 997 wheels.

beautiful 928! dont remember liking them that much.. too far a departure from 911, but that one WORKS! but still say you're getting the short end of the stick if she has the keys to the turbo!

..and the wheels dont work in the way that later market aftermarket oem parts sometimes don't. quite unlike the 997t lookalike led taillamps DO LOL

oem twists
I'm still drooling over the 928 pictures, that is a very special car. Does it sound as good as it looks?
