Bloo Roo
A kangaroo wanted to see what its like to to bounce into a 996TT on an early morning drive with friends. Yes this is me in my car.
You tube clip. You can hear the loud thump at the end, I had to cut it right here my vocabulary wasn't very pleasant.
The roo then decided to compare cars and this was the effect of the same roo hitting the car behind me after bouncing off my car. He was very lucky it didnt go through his windscreen.
This car is only a few weeks old.

geez, jim.. when i said "tie me kangaroo down mate" i was KIDDING!
if it makes you feel any better ( and not that it will! ) but i had a mule deer literally roll over my last TT. it had been born in my yard, lived there for its first year of life quite comfortably, until it decided to cross the road under my property and roll across my hood.
animals happen! sorry to hear

Now you tell me You're kidding !!! Ha ha ha.
Could have been a lot worse for me. Pretty sure the small dent can be removed by paint less dent removal. I have reposted as I dont think the 1st link was working. I had to edit the video just after the incident as my vocabulary wasn't very pleasant.
My friend in his brand new Cayman GTS in front was unaware what just happened.
I am going to purchase a roo whistle which only roos can hear for up to 2 miles.
Edit; was that your previous 996T that was written off by the insurance co. ?

Geez mate, you're having no luck at all sorry to hear about that!
We have plenty of camels over here but I've never had a close encounter with one; the nearest I've come is missing an Arabian Oryx by about 1m at 140 kph in the dark. I did have a GoPro of it but seem to have lost that along the way. Scared the crap out of me.

Sorry about your Turbo.
In my part of world deer hits are almost a daily occurrence. My brother-in-law just hit one at slow speed that caused $2k in damage and a friend of his hit one on the highway which might be so bad that the car may be totally.
I have had three near misses in the past two weeks. The mating season known as "the rut" has just kicked off so deer are moving around quite bit. And they move in herds. You miss one and another one right behind it does its best to commit suicide with your vehicle.

cant remember. was a minor accident, after all it was a small deer lol.
you have bloodied your car though now. blood sacrifice is the quickest way to the dark side. have it baptized and painted only at an authorised p car dealership or referral! and THEN and only then, tie me kangaroo down, mate!
sorry for the hit though. seriously.

I cleaned it up, I had about 12 months of car detailing experience about 15 years ago.
Only a small dent which can easily be fixed by dent fix guy.
