Default 2002 996 Turbo

Hi. I just bought a 996 and while driving it, I noticed that the gas pedal reaches a certain point, then if I push harder, it clicks and goes to floor. Is this normal?

The pedal is connect to the base by a ball and socket join. Sometimes the ball pops out of the socket. Check yours.
