Default X50 and Carbon

I will soon be viewing a X50

how can I tell if the car really is an X50 (aside from power increase I probably won't feel on a public road!)

What can I check - will the option be on the sticker under front lid?
What if that stick is really faded as they often are?

Also, this one has a 'full carbon interior' - did Porsche ever provide that as an option?

you should have no trouble reading the sticker for the x50. yes porsche offered different levels of carbon fiber package. My car has the full treatment but was added by a previous owner. the carbon fiber centre console really improves the look of the interior IMO. It is very expensive to add now as was when new.

the one I will view has lots of CF inside. It looks very 'stock' and 'professional' i.e. not afermarkety.

I just want to buy a Turbo that is stock, and only has factory mod's (options)

As noted check under hood sticker, have the seller e-mail you a picture and you can check options online.

Full factory carbon includes the carbon strips along the front defroster trim, center console, steering wheel , console vents and surrounds, speaker grills front and back, door sills, arm rests, back of the sports seats, thin strip above the glove box, shifter. Brake handle ash tray door lower console wing where the seat heater switches are?

I ordered my car new with the full carbon package. I am fairly certain that the carbon steering wheel was an extra item and not part of the full carbon option, as were the sport seats. These two options had to be specified separately.
