Default New exhaust

Speedtech 3.0 "X-flow". Cold start, a few dabs to 3-4K RPM.
Gives it a nice menacing growl, you can really hear the turbos spooling!

I've had that on my car for 4 years now. I still love it!

Heard that exhaust on a car at Red Brick Reunion and it sounds very good.

However, $2,000+ for what is being very generous $1,000 exhaust is beyond me.

100 Cell Hi-Flow cat.
Very little to no drone, sounds just about perfect IMO.
My car has Kevin's (UMW) turbos and tune. With this exhaust it's crazy fast.
The rolling 70-130mph is downright scary.

Show me where I can get a full 3.0 X-flow exhaust for a 996TT for $1K, I'll buy two.

Me too! Not sure what they're talking about. Maybe cat less straight pipes?

I response to the value issue mentioned...Our exhausts are not a cheap hobby build. They are 100% stainless steel, jigged and tig welded by professionals. All welds are back purged, which takes more time and insures smooth, improved flow on the inside. Our cats are built from scratch using high quality cores, laser cut flanges and stainless V-band hardware....there is nothing inexpensive about the way we do it and no corners are cut at any point in the process. This is a top shelf product with guarantee and as such is much more expensive to produce than some people seem to think.

Often, you get what you pay for - I have seen a few inexpensive DIY X-Pipes and I won't even get into the plethora of problems that they routinely display. Fabricating a top quality product, as we do, is nowhere near as easy or inexpensive as it looks sitting in the box.

No prob, John. You KNOW I'm a customer for life!

Regarding your comments on the cheap X-pipes, I had a friend in PR who installed one of them on his 991S and had it break right at the "X" while doing a DE. He wasn't happy.
