hard to believe anything todd builds would be a "hack" job. he is a perfectionist. now since its out of his hands its anybody game. what are the turbos? its a mild build at best I'm guessing stock internals . upgraded fueling which is nice but probably not enough for anything more than the car has already. clutch is decent but again built for the current mods not much more.

questions to ask for any car your looking at are : coolant lines addressed? pinned or welded?
spoiler hydraulics have any issues? if yes what was replaced? stock slave setup or gt2 conversion? if stock how long since the slave or accumulator was replaced? oil sensor ever replaced? cam sensor brackets ever replaced? do you require emissions? are the rear O2 sensors working or have they been turned off? these are just a few questions to ask

Buy stock and go from there if you want to modify the car.

Todd from Protomotive said the work he did to the vehicle was: k24/18g upgrades with electronic boost controllers, 5 bar fpr, sachs motorsport clutch and lwfw.

i would ask what injectors he has in the motor. typically folks use a 5 bar fpr to keep from adding injectors . once they add injectors they go back to a 3.8 or stock fpr. if he did both its odd. k24/18 is a solid turbo but old technology. good for 600+ on 93 with proper fueling and tuning. (he is a master tuner on stock dme) good is good for that but not much more

I sent the car to PPI and it checked out fine. I just happened to find another one, in my local state, with more recent mods from another great tuner. Other then that, I would of purchased it. Grab it =)
