Change my oil 1x yr which equates to 3k miles. Usually add 1/2 qt over the 3k. I use 5w-50. Since I live in the se weather has no concern on the 5w-50 choice.

Keep an eye on tire pressure. If its not per spec's, tires will wear faster and they are not cheap to replace.
