Default footwell lighting

Wanted to add some footwell lighting switched . Was going either with an LED trunk light mounted under the dash or an LED strip . ANyone have any experience doing this. Installer said I should go with a blue led but not convinced think just white led would be sufficient

ecs has the led footwell ( well the interior ) kit and it was an instant and noticeably brighter improvement. door lights, headliner, the works. well worth it. not dingy any longer.

I think I misunderstood the question! sorry lol

Yes we do not have foot well lighting unless we have the option, should have been standard on a car of this cost imo. The ecs kit looks nice but you know me I'm sticking with the old dim bulbs= there just like me lol.
