Anyone know of one for sale? Ever seen one?

Red 996 Turbos are rather rare. And an S? With tan interior? Unicorn.

All you can do is keep your eyes peeled. If possible at the various used car sites set up some kind of filter that if one comes up for sale you get an email alert. Check the Porsche forum cars for sale sites on a daily or more often basis.

Check Panorama and Excellence used car for sale sites, too.

And check the Porsche used car web site for a candidate car.

Saw one in maroon, tan interior, Tiptronic, on eBay about 18 months ago. Selling from Nashville, if I remember correctly. I thought it looked gorgeous, but wanted a manual.

Thumbs up

I've got a red Turbo coupe with tan interior but it's a 2001 model not the S. Yes they are rare. When I bought mine the dealer said they would have sold it a long time ago if it would have had a black interior instead of tan. All the better for me, I like the tan interior.

Guess I have to expand my criteria and consider whats available or what until who knows when!

I wanted a completely unmodified car; would this list of mods cause hesitation if you were in the market for an as completely original car as possible?

Those are minor mods and could easily be put back to stock but with that said I would hold out and get a car that hasn't been fooled with= if you want a stock car. Is a nice looking car and saw it for sale here or on 6spd= do not believe he's owned it long but not positive?
