So you are 6 feet tall and have the leg length (average) of a guy 6' 2"? That wouldn't be a case of a long torso.

Indeed a good observation.

My car has the XSU Lowered Seats (-10 mm) option and is perfect for me with the seats all the way down. I'm not particularly tall at 6 ft. but like to sit low. Not sure if you can retrofit the lowered seat option??? Was $705 from the factory...

From the Order Guide:

Option XSU - Thinner seat cushion lowers seat by 10 mm to offer increased headroom. Includes padded head restraints.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I wanted the seat to be as comfortable as possible (for long trips) but needed more headroom because of my sitting height, so I ordered my 996 Turbo with the sunroof delete option. The factory said this created another ~1" of headroom.

I guess this thread means that your not tracking this car? To bad, a turbo is a lot of fun at the track.

The stock seat hardware is good for at least 3 inches that you cant control.

Smaller steering wheel may help but, you may lose the stock look and you may still be sitting too high with the stock brackets underneath. A Fixed mount may help maintain that stock look but, you compromise the stock flexibility.

A flat bottom steering wheel will only help with entry but, your issue is during driving.

If leg-to-steering wheel clearance is the only issue one has (as was my case), then the smaller diameter steering wheel will no question help.

Iam 196 cm. The Stock steering Wheel was to big for my legs kept bumping into my tighs all the time. Bought the RAID steeringwheel from Gert with spacer. Now its Perfect for me. Kept the old 3 spoke steeringweel ( witch was a 1000 dollar extra when New ). so it can be rolled back. I actually keep all the original swap outs. inkl the speakers.

It also was a fun and easy swap out, really recomended for tall drivers.

Guys !!!
You need to fit the steering wheel spacer from 9products. It will aloud to bring the steering wheel towards you of about 3" . I am tall and that device changed completely the driving position. It's simply brillant.
