I did marry Kevin's tune with a good exhaust but about 80 percent of the benefit comes just from his tune.
That sounds awesome. Where was this rally tour? How did you find it? How do I join for next year?

Yesterday I got a peek at my new UMW turbos and picked up a 100 cell Milltek this winter to go on with them soon as I get the injectors in and the motor in and the trans in and the...

Today, I am shipping out Ultimate Motorwerks first "self contained" datalogger (No laptop needed). The hardware has been up and running on my 997TT for two years and in customers hands over the last 18 months. Technically it's still in the "beta" stage. I'll post pictures and details shortly.

Sorry, just saw your question Rick. It was Targa New Zealand (http://targa.co.nz/), the Bambina version over 3 days. Several events a year and not unusual to have overseas competitors, including from the States. Most bring their own cars but some can be hired too. I ran the Tour as mine is uncaged. Tried to swap to the full competition in a caged rental but my co-driver was set on the Tour, as many of our friends were in it.

Nearest equivalent closer to you looks to be the 'Fast Tour' of the Targa Newfoundland - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Targa_Newfoundland

These events are fun, and also gave me the chance to compare my car (on stock K16s with Kevin's UMW 93 tune, plus about two thou in exhaust etc) against some other metal. She runs great on track too, but there we're mostly just running with or racing other Porsches.

That sounds really neat, I hear logging with a Durametric cable is inconvenient and the computer on other end can get one hell of a ride at the track

Ive heard allot of good things about UMW and your on my list for tuning when I get my 996TT.

One thing though. You really need a new website. Im probably not the only that visits your website. Anyways, just a suggestion.

Seconding this. I'd be willing to help get you up and going on Wix or Squarespace if you can provide the media and copy. Only seems fair given how much you have helped others out on this board.
