I like the 996 Turbo lip on my 996 Turbo because that's what the car came with from Porsche. If I had wanted a 996 C4S lip I would have bought a 996 C4S.

I also like the looks of the 996 Turbo front lip. Mine's original, and when it needs replacing, another 996 Turbo lip will be installed.

what if you wanted a turbo with a c4s lip!? can you imagine the cognitive dissonance you'd have to endure?! would you even survive it!?!

so, then what's with the fvd steering wheel? the oem not good enough for ya?!

another bold decision there! lol. you "ilke it" all that matters. i think its buck ugly.

same asininity of thinking i remember you by, as it appears some things may never change lol. so you like the stock lip! mazeltov! the c4s simply ruins the car to no end, doesn't it?

so enjoy your fugly oem lip. as for me? we backwoods legit, and don't take no lip. ha go ahead, grade my punctuation. again, back to ignore, sorry to bother you.

Why would I want that?

I didn't fit with the OEM steering wheel.

funny you mention that! was on a terminal other than my own when i posted in response to some of your asininity, and it took but a moment to realize (a) you weren't on "ignore" any longer and (b) why i have bestowed that once in a lifetime dubious distinction upon you and you alone "here" and thankfully you're abandoned the 6, long ago

so to answer your question, it required that i momentarily remove you this AM as i ill admit i was curious as to what pithy reply you might dredge up from the depths of your sanctimonious and holier than thou consciousness, since i DO see this all as a "game", but one i don't particularly enjoy playing with you. so, imagine my surprise when i found you once again, had nothing to say! so please consider yourself ( once again ) "ignored". but thanks for ( the attempt ) at playing along. good day and /ignore back on.

I did this and really didn't like the look, it makes the front narrower without the side winglets, in fact I have tried just about everything and settled on a full Techart front end, I love it

there isn't much better looking than a full techart front w skirts etc. besides a full RUF set, but i really prefer ( gee, have i said this?! ) the c4s lip aesthetically, but as to clearance, the middle clearance of 3/4 inch the c4s has relative to the turbo lip isn't going to do much if ANYthing to mitigate scrapes, as they mostly all occur from the edges closer to the wheel. not the center. though it DOES help me to gauge more accurately what small rocks in the road i need to avoid, and gives me a few more i can safely pass over, rather than swerve to avoid. which when navigated improperly, just recently cost me an entire side of the door ( scratch and rocker panel etc ) and one front wheel in unavoidable damage! no lip would've prevented that.

I'm happy with my turbo lip, it does scrape a bit but I do think that it suits the car better than the 4s lip. You pays yer money.....
