Sell the BMW. Presumably the wife has a car and you can just borrow her's when you need to carry buddies around. Or ditch the buddies.

I suggest you do what you really want to do and not what your wife really wants you to do, but I will also opine that it is normally easier and cheaper to find another car (down the road) than it is to find another wife.

My loss is somebody's gain. Happy wife, happy life.

There will be other turbos but no more wives for me-

Smart man. My guess is that you'll have a lot of interest if you post an asking price and a few more details. Car looks spectacular.

OK, it's been a great car for me. I am the third owner, almost 4 years. Previous owner was an Insurance Exec who put 8000 miles on it in 8 years.

The car is bone stock; I considered a UMW tune back when I first bought it but decided not to do it. Car is plenty fast stock.

No significant maintenance issues; I have changed the oil annually. Back around 22k it developed a miss under load and I changed plugs, coil packs, and the MAF (the MAF fixed it). Car pulls strong to the redline just like it should.

Four new tires at 22k.

Regarding 2001 common issues: second gear popout has never happened in this car. Rear wing- I had to replace the microswitches and wing works fine.

As I mentioned earlier, the body is completely original and the paint looks great. There are a couple of rock chips in the front and a very small ding on the front spoiler.

The interior leather is in very good condition with some minor wear on the driver's seat. Passenger seat looks like new.

It is a 2001 so it has no glove box which is beyond me; it also has useless cup holders that are designed to dump your coffee on the radio...

I am going to miss the boost but I expect I will have another one-

Car is located outside Charlotte, NC and I will work with anyone wanting a PPI.

Asking $44,900.

Thanks

That Nissan driver looked like he wanted to wear out the limiter in 1st gear.

It'd be nice if people would stop low balling their cars.

Agree Dock but who knows, I've seen more realistic pricing elsewhere and have found forums not to be the best place to sell a car. Don't want the whole price argument to start again but he will sell that car quickly= probably the plan.

People will do what they want to do. I'm just attempting to encourage them to elevate the game.
