2015 Porsche 918 Spyder high-speed Australian outback run.
This part of Australia has been recently changed back to an unrestricted speed zone highway, this came about when the road accident death toll actually went up quite significantly when it was adjusted down to 130kmh restriction from the previous unlimited zone.
Seems like common sense prevails.
So on this hwy
Unlimited speed = less accident
Lower speed limit = more accidents.

Wow! Nice video...
I would be worried about hitting critters and those kangaroos.

On one part of the highway across the plain there is a 110 mile stretch of perfectly straight road. I got overtaken in my old Torana once there by a 3 carriage road train (huge truck) when I was doing 100 mph.
probably one of the few truly safe places on earth to do high speed runs with no chance of killing anyone except yourself

I lived at RAAF Base Pearce in the outback side of Perth for 7 years... there were hundreds of big red boomers (Roos) everywhere... but driving in the far outback across the Nullabor Plain etc I have never seen a kangaroo or Emu or anything of note.
