Default Anyone in IL deal with Greater Chicago Motors? Looking at a turbo

Ok ignore the rims, but I was just checking this turbo out. Obviously need to get a PPI done, but the price seems low. Anyone recommend a garage in Chicago that can do a detailed PPI?

Thanks in advance.

For a PPI I'd recommend Fischer Motors in Lake Barrington. Not close to seller. But a very good shop.

Loeber Porsche and The Porsche Exchange would be OK.

Also look into Chicago Performance & Tuning.

Lmao my *** off they changed the wheels again. Thats the third set of wheels that have been on that car that i know of. This car has been for sale for upwards of two and a half years. I inquired about it a few months ago, and had a fellow rennlister check it out. His opinion was the car is rough and sales staff wasnt too flexible with test drives or inspections. Something has to be wrong with this car as 600 plus days on the market is odd. check car gurus and you can see listing history of this vehicle. Nvrmind wrong car, looks identical who knows they could have made it a standard to move it.

That must be a different car. If you look at the Carfax, it shows registration renewels from the same city through August of last year and shows it in the dealers inventory just recently.

Going to the dealer's website the interior looks a little rough, but what do you expect from a 13 year old car with 60k miles.
I have no idea mechanically how it is yet, I'm reaching out to the Porsche dealerships that are in the car fax to find out some history.

1mrj911,
Can you talk briefly about how the company was to deal with? Also I'm not 100% sure I want to buy a car that has been in the north ( I've always purchased southern cars), any rust or corrosion?
Thanks for your time

You should post some pics, what wheels did it come with? No offense I hope taken as I'm sure it's a great car.

I wouldn't worry about a northern car; most are put away for the winter. 62,000 miles over 14 years is less than 5000 miles per year - consistent with a summer driven car around these parts. Get a good PPI..
