Default Best tires for Champion RG5s

Hi all:

When I bought my 996TT, it came with Champions wearing new Hankooks. They're now starting to get near replacement status. I've been perfectly happy with them, but I loved Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my 997 and was pondering making a switch. Just curious if there's a popular match for the 19" RG5s.

Thanks all.

Mostly depends on the width of your wheels doesn't it? If you liked the PSS, then make sure they fit and buy a set. I've heard nothing but great things about them (wish they came in stock sizes).

I went with 305/30/19 and 245/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport on my Champion RS98 (8.5F / 12R). Lowered with H&R springs. There is a slight rub (turning at full lock) with the portion radiator vent liner. Some also do 235/35 up front, but that has slightly larger revs per mile. Gets closer to the 4% AWD threshold everyone talks about. I also rolled my rear fenders. You can see some photos here http://www.locodemoto.com/refinished-wheels/
