welcome back into a proper drivers car! it always astonishes me, the level of brilliance dealers tend to ensure how cars look on their lots, and this one looks terrific! enjoy it in good health, and to the six sandbox. sorry about the trans! but if you're happy with the tip? x'lnt!

Tips are great, you will be happy. I went the tip route and havnt missed shifting since. What worried me was not being the best "shifter" and costly clutch work as a result. You get in ya go and have a free hand to pick black a/c conditioning foam off your face.

That dealership is an example of how to do it right. Inventory is always clean and in house shop is one of the best.

Nice looking car. My wife learned to drive on a manual, whereas I learned manual years after I learned to drive---so she is better at it than I. My 6spd is a weekender, but now I wish I had another, but tip, as a DD.

My suggestion to parents is..."Teach your kids how to drive a manual".
Both of my kids were interested in learning how to drive a manual without any encouragement by me, but I told them that even without their motivation I would have encouraged them to learn the manual transmission as doing so can pay dividends during the course of their life. I told my daughter that being able to drive a manual could mean being able to say "yes" to her husband's request to buy a vehicle (sports car?) that had a manual transmission. They would both be winners; he gets the sports car he really wants, and she gets to enjoy it too. Additionally, the ability to drive a manual can bail people out of an undesirable situation. For example being with a few friends where the person who drove his vehicle (a manual) has one beer too many and you are the only one of the otherwise "legal" group who can drive a manual.
