Duc Hunters "BatTurbo"
Well I have been hunting for a 996 Turbo or a 964NA. I had wanted (and found) a modified car, as it is always cheaper to buy someone else mods than to them yourself. I wanted to drive a "stock" car though to feel the difference, and a friend of a friend had one. I drove it and they offered to sell it to me....and the deal was such I could not refuse. This is my first P-Car, and I could not be happier so far.
She has 39k miles on her, and was a 3 owner car that had been cared for. It is amazing to me that the car is 14 years old. inside and out it does not seem like it.

There are a few small issues;
- The tires are miss matched brand (correct size though), and the fronts were new in 2002
- An aftermaket stereo system was installed. If it were done right it would not be bad, but the wiring is not as clean as I would like, so it will be replaced with a more modern system that has a clearer install.
- The rear wing is broken, hydraulics are shot...imagine that
There are a few things I want to get done soon in terms of mods;
- Window Tint (tomorrow)
- Sound System up to snuff
- New tire (and maybe wheels)
- Suspension dropped a little (prob PSS10's)

On another note everyone has awesome yards and if I ever post my car I must borrow a yard for pics.

Congratulations and welcome.
There are temporary and permanent fixes for the rear spoiler. doesn' hurt to drive it around 'up' for a while.
I got my '02 last Fall and was pleased to learn it's the last year for 'regular' wiring as opposed to the optical hookup on audio. Means it's easier and much cheaper to upgrade.

Let's just say I paid less than the mileage on the odometer (39,696). I lucked into a VERY good deal......so far.
