Default I LOVE my new steering wheel!!

Well it took me 7 and a 1/2 weeks to get it but its in!! I bought a whole new set of stalks to install because my computer stalk was all over the place. Turns out it was a loose allen screw. So now I have a whole new set laying around just in case I guess.. Well here are some pics... This was How it came.

No new wheel does. Old one had the carbon fiber rocker switches...

did you replace it yourself? was it hard to do? how much was the new wheel?

i also have your original wheel and i am constantly hitting the shifters when turning...especially with winter gloves on.

Super easy to do just take your time. There is an online video of how to remove the steering wheel.
You order the wheel to your specs. Mine was 1400 shipped.
I know what you mean. It makes it feel like I am driving a new car. The wheel feels awesome.

This is definitely on my mod "to do list". I like the feel of a thicker wheel. My current wheel has the aluminum "upgrade" around 2/3 of the wheel, which looks good, but is actually very uncomfortable and can get slippery if your palms are sweating. My only issue is the color match. Does the OP or anyone else think the color is off a little compared to the airbag? I have metropol blue interior and I would be disappointed if the color wasn't a near perfect match, which I think would be pretty hard to find.

I ordered a thicker, smaller diameter (340mm) steering wheel in Metropol Blue (MB) from FVD, and it is a VERY close match to my MB interior. I'll post up a picture of it if you want.

My airbag is a little darker but it is older leather. I am sure once this wheel gets the oil from hands into the leather it will darken to match perfect. Again it is a small shad off. But not so far that it looks strange or bad. Hope this helps.

My FVD steering wheel came with a new air bag, so the colors match.

Very nice! I like it! I think that's how the wheels should have come from factory on these cars.
