Looks like the best deal I can work is about 2,800 for 740sq ft.
I'm good with that.

Did you get the small chips or large chips. How is the traction? Any slippery feel? Thanks

That's a good question. It's probably on my paperwork but I'm out if town right now and will have to look when I get back. I'll let you know.

Whatever I have, foot traction is not really an issue.

I just had my done in the Bay Area and it was $2700 for 736 sq. ft., so pricing looks comparable.

I used the larger chips. Close up photo so you can see colors/size of chips:

Not sure on the name of the color, but it has gray, tan, black, and white chips. Wanted something to go with the colors of the driveway -

Went with approach mentioned earlier - epoxy with two coats of clear urethane on top. I didn't specify sand/anything for traction, but it does look like there is something in there. Not slippery at all - you can feel something slightly rough when walking on it.

Not sure on wear and tear yet, has only been installed for about 4 months, but love the look and feel overall. Would do it again without question.

My color is "PreimerOne Smoke" with 1/4" chips. Once the epoxy goes on it doesn't completely smooth over the chips. So there are undulations in the surface caused by the chips and by their edges. Nothing close to sharp edges, but rather a "rough" surface that IMO provides adequate grip when wet.

Wallyworld
Did they coat the expansion joints around your perimeters? Mines now done and I couldn't be happier. The installer offered to coat the joints but I'm not sure.

OMG you guys are killing me, this all looks amazing. My garage floor of my 1979 house ( moved in 2 years ago) looks terrible.
