Smart move and look forward to seeing your car. My heart was in the right place but agree I can be an overbearing sob lol.

Nice congrats!

Re tires: Based on my research you can't go wrong with the PS2. And seems like most people who try the falken's are really happy and save quite a bit of money.

I'm going to be going with the Falkens if they are significantly cheaper when buying time comes.

The sumimoto's get mixed reviews and I'm not going to risk it.

As I have made another purchase, and in an effort to save myself some space with my on;line picture storage, I will probably be taking down the pics in this thread soon.

Default keep looking

I bought an 03 end of Feb this year and agree that this one looks rough.
I've always bought used cars that are well cared for and have been willing to spend a little more to get something I can live with for a while since I tend to keep stuff for several years. I usually drive a car for a few weeks then do most every maintenance item that was either neglected or needed update(shocks and bushings/control arms come to mind).

I spent extra on my 996tt to get a color I wanted with all the records and some upgrades I would have done anyway (PSS10, sway bars/links, wheels, Numeric, FVD airbag steering wheel). The guy knew his car was nice and wanted a little more but I got what I wanted too.

Cars are emotional so taking your time looking more can sometimes be an issue
