So checked the power steering reservoir level this morning and sure enough, it was low. This was done when engine is cold and the level was below the "cold" level on the stick. Actually could barely see any fluid in the stick. Will try it later with the engine warm/hot.
While at it checked the clutch level and I think it's actuallly "overfilled".
There's no stick to measure the level but there are markings on the reservoir, but hard to see the fluid level. I think it might be overfilled because when I unscrew the cap I see fluid at the neck of the reservoir, if you know what I mean. Again, checked when the engine was cold.
Am I correct in thinking the clutch fluid is high or should I be checking it when the engine is running or warm/hot? Or am I missreading the level somehow?

Hum I guess you know what an under fill steering pump reservoir with an overfilled clutch reservoir mean? The clutch slave actuator is taking the clutch pedal pressure plus the steering pump pressure to release the clutch. If you have an overfilled clutch reservoir it mean you got migration within the slave actuator. Some of the steering pump pressure is getting into the clutch system because of a failing slave. I live with this situation for a while by monitoring the reservoirs level. But soon the slave should be replaced. Of course at the same time the accumulator should also be replaced.
Slave or clutch operating cylinder: 99611623752 about $378.17
the accumulator: 99731416600 $123.24
About three hours job.

very common. per jpflips ( and my later ) suggestion? you have a faulty clutch slave and accumulator and replace them both. check the master up front and you'll be good to go.
until they fail again! LOL
or invest and research the gt2 slave delete which will eliminate the hydraulic assistance which is causing your issues. again. welcome to the club
