Anyone have any experience with buying and importing a Porsche from Canada to the United States ? Any red tape ? Can it be easily titled?

I have been told that if the car was delivered originally in the US, re-importing is very easy. However, there were DOT requirements for US cars that a Canada-delivered car would have to meet. So a lot depends on the country where the car was originally delivered.
