Anyone have gt2/3 hydraulics they'd let me push the clutch pedal on? 996 or 997?
Contemplating doing it. Never felt the non assist version.

It will feel stiff when you first give it a try. After a 10-15 minute drive, you realize you have adapted to it, and won't even notice it.
You really need to take it for a drive, not just sit and push the peddle. I did this for someone local to me who was hesitant to switch without trying it
Six months late, your left thigh and calf are an inch thicker than the right from the extra exercise

I put a lighter helper spring on my stock clutch setup to get a more linear feel to the clutch. It worked beautifully. The lighter spring has just enough pressure to keep the pedal at the top of it's travel when not engaged.
The reason I mention it is that I drove a buddy's 997 GT3 and both the pressure required and feel were similar to my 996TT with the lighter helper spring.
Worst case, take out the helper spring and that would give you a good idea of what it would feel like.
