Honestly, all things considered I'd rather have a 996TT than a 997 or even 991 NA car. I really would. When I bought it, I was actually at the dealer about to order a new 997.2S. I asked to drive it and fell in love immediately. Salesman wasn't happy.

If it was my DD, I'd probably pick a 991S for the warranty and comfort factor. However, it's one of my toys and is exactly what I was looking for. Bottom line... it's a better car than I am a driver and I never get tired of driving it.

Agreed,I rented one when my last car was in the collision center to cheer me up.That was my first experience and is what got me hooked on the 911.

agreed! i'll say it again.. as a DD? faggedaboudit. and that push a button sport mode exhaust note? almost make me wish i had a payment and a factory bumper to bumper. but instead i have a 13 yr old sow that will give a 991 turbo a SOLID run for it's 175K tag

lol, honestly I do like the 991 non widebody but I am not impressed with the silly center console in it or the lack of an emergency brake handle. The 991 Turbo body is completely ugly and those side vents. I wish they would have had put the Turbo in the narrow body with AWD, 997 vents and called it a day. It would be a much better looking car and much lighter then the current pig.

yes, i deplore all that center console interior of the 991 it reminds me of being in ..i dunno, a lincoln or something lol..

but the 991 turbo aside from not knowing where they hid the engine since most owners'll never see it! lol i can't find any fault with it, but haven't driven it or had any extended time to even look at it. just a glance here and there. i just take comfort in knowing i'm at similar power level as their latest version even if i dont have 17 different buttons i can push LOL

Agree on the 991 console. The switch gear is the same as they use in the VW CC.
