Default Sequential Shifter? Any feedback? (sqs/m7)

I know of one guy who runs a sequential shifter on his high HP car.

I am looking for feedback from guys who have ran a SQS/M7 Sequential shifter?

I was pondering it for next season, just basically u preset the next gear just depress the clutch, I would think it would help make the car faster in as straight line.

I've never used a sequential but this video always makes the hair on the back of the neck stand up.

Makes the old heel/toe nonsense look primitive in comparison, but that SQS system is $7K to play, plus install labor costs, which puts this toy out of the reach of most mere mortals.

I think it looks like a pretty cool shifter, but still a long way from the no lift shifting that comes from a true sequential with straight cut dog box gears found in a cup car. I'm looking at a Emco box for my race car 24K one of the biggest benefits of the quick shifts is using shorter gears, when i'm chasing a 997 cup on the track there are alot of sections that Ill roll though the corner in 3rd and use it till the next braking zone and I can hear the cup take two quick shifts over the same distance pulling me by a 1 1/2 cars. The SQS does look good for a tracked street car though, I would like to try it as well

You would still have heal/toe with this shifter
