doesn't look ( to me ) like an oem nav but if you're lucky its one of them fancy double din units. if so consider your self lucky as the discs and the oem nav are so old as to be all but obsolete and outdated. or so i am told. never had one and i stay lost.

No chance of that at my aunt/uncle's house. My uncle kept the lawn/landscaping perfect. He was originally from NY and really enjoyed having a lawn. Oh, and he loved the weather in Louisiana, too. He worked in the oil field business -- he was a geologist -- with Gardner Denver and the yard was his way to get away from his work. He was a good guy (he died some years back). When I was there that summer I wish I had gotten the bug to take up geology from him. He tried, I think. He took me with him to oil and gas rigs a couple of times. Even took me to a gas well fire. What a sight.

Definitely not OEM nav and stereo, but that's fine if everything works well. I'm not a fan of the 997 wheels even on a 997, but as long as the tire diameters are good and you don't get odd PSM behavior, that's up to you.

The repaint doesn't sound like a big deal. Go for it.

Default Got one!

So I didn't get the LaFayette car. Instead I picked up this beautiful Guards Red 2003 in Atlanta. I'm thrilled, the car is almost completely stock and really nice. There's a couple of small issues but nothing major.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm sure I'll need some in the future.

Default Sport Technos

XRC option. Thought to be "wrong wheels" by a previous PPI shop.

Default Red?

When my wife and I looked at the red one on Saturday we both thought that it was a more exciting color for a Porsche.

On thursday you said..I talked to Harold. He gave it a clean mechanical bill of health.

We did find that the fender and passenger door have been painted. Otherwise, the car is just about exactly what I want..

Thanks,
Keith

But then, When my wife and I looked at the red one on Saturday we both thought that it was a more exciting color for a Porsche.

So you got a grey one on Thursday and a red one on Saturday -- I like it.
