Helping my dad find a turbo for himself. Prefers not a highly modded one but is open to some mods. Looking for something less than 60k miles and pricing not higher than 45k. Open to any exterior/interior colors. Ideally car being located on the West Coast.

If you haven't already, you will have to expand your search and become more proactive.

You can continue to check classifieds here, but also expand your search to check the ads in Excellence and Panorama. These ads may be available online so you do not have to buy or find copies of the magazines.

www.cars.com and www.autotrader.com could also have Turbo's listed for sale. The PCNA web site might have a search function to find used car stock on dealer lots, too.

I like to point out a good car is where you find it, but you have to look for the car.

Thanks. I've been checking pca classifieds, panorama, auto trader, cars.com, ebay motors, and Craigslist from Seattle, NorCal, Socal, Arizona, Nevada. Sometimes the best cars are the ones that don't even get posted for sale but an owner decides to sell, hence why I posted this here.

I know of a few in So Cal. I actually made a spreadsheet of all the ones I researched when I bought mine. PM if interested in So Cal candidates. I bought mine from a Chevy dealer in MN(!!!)

I'm also in the market for an '02-'04 996TT six-speed coupe here in the Bay Area...but only silver, grey, or black (no red or yellow).

There aren't very many 996TTs for sale here at the present time, although there are plenty of Tiptronics available. Super clean grey '02 or '03 at SF Sports Cars if your father is ok with an automatic.

I just had a PPI done on a 30K mile seal grey '03 but there were a few issues that could not be resolved to my satisfaction by the owner and consignment shop.

The search goes on...

Thanks, saw the one at Topline and wasnt that impressed with it. I think the one at SF sports is a nicer example. My dad is ok with a tip tronic so may go take a look at that one.

Dawydiak in SF has a Guards Red Turbo with low miles For sale. I talked to them about 1.5 months ago but they did not have flex/want to sell. I ended up buying a Silver Turbo and now see that they drop the price to 43,500. I would have bought at this price then but someone can get it now

Philips Auto in Newport Beach always has a couple in stock. Decent boutique dealer specializing in Pcars. Looks like they currently have a nice black one that fits your criteria.
