Hi everyone,

I picked up a 996 Turbo back in Febuary and just joined this forum. It is a 2004 X50 with PCCB's and 66k on the odometer; it was lightly modded with GIAC software, Hitachi MAF, and a CF dual plenum intake. I am continual tinkerer and have worked on a few Porsches. Been a mechanic for thirty years and am a certified machinist and welder so I will end up spending way too much time on this new car in the future. Anyone interested in a modified 2001 BMW M3 please let me know, I need to sell it to buy parts for this car

I have had the M3 for 7 years and still love the car but my brother was selling the Porsche optioned exactly how I would want it and was willing to give it to me for a really good deal. The Porsche platform has much more potential for making something really special out of it. Originally I was going to turn the M3 into a dedicated track car but I think I am just going to sell it at this point. With a little work the Porsche should be everything I need. Pics as requested

Here is a pic of M3, there is about $20K in performance parts in it and who knows how many hours of labor, including a complete tear down a couple years ago to weld reinforce the subframe and replace all the bushings and bearings. I know I should keep it but ...I am just itching to dump it all into the Turbo.

No pics of the intake on my computer, I am out of the country right now. I will grab some when I get home, if you PM me I will send them to you.

Thanks ECS I have spent a bit with you guys over the years. Planning on ordering 710N diverter valves and a forge F hose from you as soon as I get home.
