Default broken bracket in front for tie rod link

Anyone ever have this happen?

Anyone know the part I need to replace this? Anything that upgrades it? Wondering how this snapped doesn't seem very strong in the first place and didn't think it takes a lot of pressure.

Looks to be corrosion and general fatigue from exposure to the elements. You will need to replace the whole coil over as it's a part of it. Or take it to a shop that can weld it up for you but I doubt that will be a long temp solution as the other size is probably not far behind...

Looks that way, thanks. I would seriously not choose Bilstien again because of this simple quality issue. The supporting bracket is no way engineered properly to last the life of the coilover.

Wondering which coilovers would have beter durability I am not to pleased with having to replace them every 5 years.

KW coil over bodies are stainless, PSS10 are chrome plated steel.

orginal welded on to the shock. Looks like there is enough of a area on the shock to weld something new on to the shock without damaging it that could replace it. Checked the other side and it shows no signs of corrosion. Going to try and weld something on for now. Otherwise I was looking at the HR clubsport coilovers, the bracket on it seems to be better constructed and not so flimsy.
