New to me 2004 Speed Yellow 996T intro...
Hey everyone,
I've been meaning to introduce myself and car since I bought it in July and finally got around to it. I previously owned a Stage 3 2001 S4 which was a real fun car but decided to sell it since it was approaching 200k miles, bought an A4, and tried to convince myself I wasn't "really" into cars anymore.
Fast forward 2 years and I started considering a P-Car. I was looking at the Caymans mostly but always liked the 996T's, the only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the interiors. I had pretty much decided that I would wait a while before I went through with purchasing a P-Car, then this showed up for sale..
and I HAD TO HAVE IT!
I pulled the trigger on the car really quickly. It was well cared for by the previous owner who I knew of through my S4 ownership. It feels great to have a really fun car again. Since I bought it I've enjoyed several fun cruises in VT and came in 3rd place in the Zone 1 PCA Street Class Concours and 3rd place in the rally, I guess the 6 hrs. I spent detailing an already clean car paid off!
Here are some of the details and more photos:

Speed yellow was the color of my first 996TT and it still brings back great memories. Enjoy it!

Congratulations and welcome to rennlist Stunning looking car! Looks like a decent turnout.
OT: Is that a Cayman with a body kit to the right of you in the 4th picture down? Not sure I've seen that bumper before.

Thank you for the compliments and welcomes!
It would definitely be cool to run into each other at some point.
Yep thats a Cayman with an anibal automotive body kit on it, I think they're out of Quebec. The body kits were pretty extreme, there was a C4S with one of their kits too. Pretty cool but a little much for my taste.

Yea, that sounds about right! It's a great car which has been and continues to be well cared for, currently at just under 49K miles. The carbon fiber and silver accents on the black interior really make it nice. I'm having a blast owning and driving it!

I smiled like the OP when I got pulled over speeding today in NY, luckily the HEAT was just an off duty detective, but he was pissed with me for sure
Great looking Porker Turbo, another yellow special
