I pulled off the throttle body in my '02tt while replacing the oil pressure sender and noticed a thin film of oil in the plenum. Is this normal? There's been no change in performance, mileage hasn't changed, no excess oil use.

A little bit is usually considered normal. The oil gets past the the seals in the oil fed bearings in the turbos. The turbos get so hot they can't really be sealed perfectly.

Agree with above probably nothing to worry about but would inspect again after a 1000 miles or so.

You need to take off the whole throttle body to get to the oil pressure sender? I thought it was right behind the oil filter housing?

Following the repair manual posted on 6speed. If I had to do it again I'd lower the engine and leave the throttle body on.
