DD is an f150 Platinum. The nice part about that is it pulls the TT down to the coast on a flat bed car hauler when we decide to spend a few days down there.
I drive the TT into the office on nice days when I'm in town. About twice a month. Other than that it mainly sees weekend duty.

IMO, E39 is kind of like a 993-996 mix for the BMW world, only problem is they're also part 914 when it comes to corrosion/rust prevention...lol
I'll probably jump to a manual E60 next

i drive this car daily whether i need to or not. i don't see how you guys that keep them in the garage are able to do it. weather permitting of course. but then we don;'t have "weather" any more.

Mine is a 3 season DD. It does not run any errands like the mall or get left in any questionable locations, but I do drive it as much as I can, including the office.
It's a great car for long trips too. Very comfortable seats and not too bad on fuel!

New to me 2001tt. I drive it EVERYWHERE. My basic philosophy in life is the answer to the question "should I drive the 911?" is FOREVER and ALWAYS a RESOUNDING YES! If the question can be asked then no other answer is permissible. Life is not a rehearsal.

I still love driving it, but with 66000 on the clock and the nearest P repair place 40 miles away, I'm conserving since I plan to keep it until I can't push the clutch in anymore. Also the novelty does wear off, but not the fun and appreciation of what it is.
