Default New to me 2001 996 turbo

Hi all. I am finally in a 996 Turbo. I have dreamed about this. I know it sounds crazy but I have. I have owned a lot of Porsches in my life. All 911's. I had a 85 Carrera euro spec. I had a 85 Targa US spec. I had a 91 964 C4. I had a 77 930 that a guy from Denmark brought. For the last 2 and a half years I had a 2002 C-4 cab. Loved it. Well now I brought a 2001 996 twin turbo. I'm going to post a few pic. I have a list of things I want to do to it I'll write more later.

Robert.

PS if anyone is looking for a nice C-4 where I trade my car. They have no clue what they have. I should have sold it privately but I was in a hurry. Here is the link.

Here is a thread that I started when I was doing work to it this summer.

Thank you all. I just had to do the slave cylinder and accumulator today. When I brought it I had a PPI and the mechanic said that the trans looks rebuilt. Spotless and clean. He said that it was a little wet with what he thought was gear oil so I thought I would have to drop the trans. So I let the car sit for 3 days and saw a puddle under my car. I started it up and the power sterring made a pressure noise. I called the mech and he told me to pick up Pentosin CHF 202 - Synthetic Hydraulic Fluid. I found it at a Mercedes shop. Filled up the pump and drove it to the mechanic. The end where the rod comes out, the seal blew and when the accumulator would build up pressure and **** out the fluid when parked. So. It's done. Nice clutch and catches nice. Wish I would have read up prior to see the gt2 slave set up. I guess the next time. Lol. Suspension is next over the winter.
