What to price it at: '04 Turbo X50 (Atlas / Black)
Hi Everyone - I’m going to list my 2004 Atlas Gray over full black leather Turbo (with X50 power kit) this weekend. I’ve had the car for 2 years and drove it from 18k miles to its current 49.6k miles. It’s running flawlessly, clean Carfax, no accidents, I hold clear title and have the Porsche COA.
Factory configuration:
Option Description Price
BASE Porsche Base Model 118,400.00
342 Heated Front Seats 410.00
AH Black Full Leather 0.00
CPZ Thicker Steering Wheel 675.00
E7 Atlas Grey Metallic 0.00
M6A Black Mats - Porsche lettering 115.00
X50 Turbo Power Kit 17,880.00
Y06 Alum/Lthr Shifter/Brake Handle 885.00
Y29 Aluminum/Chrome X71,X70,X54 1,885.00
Z0997 Custom Tailoring 0.00
Total Options 21,850.00
Total Charges 765.00
Total Order 141,015.00
Mods done:
• UMW X50 Flash 1.2 Bar
• UMW 1.0 Bar wastegates
• Europipe IIQ exhaust (specific to GT2 / X50 cars) – I will include the original exhaust in deal
• Bilstein PSS-10 coilovers installed, aligned and corner balanced by Cantrell’s in April (I also have the original suspension if you ever wanted to return to stock)
• Techart pedals
• OZ Superleggera III wheels with Michelin PS tires (I will include the stock turbo twist wheels which have a set of Michelin PS2s mounted with >50% life remaining).
• Wiring for V1 Detector (detector not included).
Maintenance: since I’ve owned the car I’ve done a number of things to maintain it (all at Barrier Porsche except final oil change at Cantrell):
2/28/13: oil change and brake fluid flush
3/16/13: New power steering pump, clutch slave and clutch accumulator
5/1/13: replaced plugs, coilpacks, MAF and O2 sensors
5/24/13: new set of Michelin PS2 tires mounted, front passenger wheel bearing replaced
8/1/13: replace power steering reservoir
9/13/13: Oil Change
12/30/13: installed new alternator
4/23/14: Oil change at Cantrell
6/24/14: Brake Fluid Flush

So, what should I price it at? I'm thinking $55k with both sets of wheels, both exhausts. Thoughts?

I spent the last few months looking for a 996TT. There were quite a few in good condition with less than 50k miles for the low $40's. The X50 package is definitely worth more (maybe $5k), but the upgrades will probably not increase the value (it actually was a negative for me). I would say you probably could get $45-$48k for the car. So it depends on how fast you want to sell it. At $55k, if it perfectly fits the bill for a potential buyer, they might give you close to that. But it could take a while to find that buyer.

Excellence magazine compiles prices over the years based on actual sales reported, and provides a range of $46,000 - $55,000 for a 2004 turbo, so the X50 option should bring a little higher value. This is their latest pricing.

I nearly bought a stock, very clean 2003 tt w/x50 and 28,000 miles for 47k in Florida. The only cars i have seen priced in the 50's had very few mile, generally less than 10k miles.

Since this is a 2004, $46K - 55 k plus the x50 option is very close. Just did a quick a=search on the internet, found two right off the bat, a yellow cab in Texas with 7.7K miles. $64,950 and a black 2004 coupe X50 with 62,323 miles for $54,950, a cab in San Francisco with 23K miles for $53,900

Hello guys,
I also have a 996 TTS 10/2004 MY2005
the car is in pristine condition with 22k miles. only mod is RUF rear silencer with stock ECU and sports cats
it is white, completely stock, with GT3 original seats installed 6k miles ago (bought new)
Any ideas how much i should ask for it ?

Sports cars are usually cheaper in warm climates where they can be enjoyed year round and they are usually more abundant also. When I was looking most cars were modded and looked beat especially the interiors so I was happy to pay a premium for low miles/stock with great service records. Do agree seems a bit high but it does looks very clean with good colors.

Some dreamy numbers, more realistically ask in 50's and end up in 40's.997tt's can be had in the 60's just fyi.
OP gorgeous car
