Yikes -
Good luck getting anywhere near that price. I believe it is worth it, but apparently buyers do not. Mine is comparable to yours, been trying to sell it for many months, down to $44k now and zero nibbles. $40K is likely the sweet spot, but you never know.

Good One!
No wife issues. A boat issue which causes less time for street car. Still keeping the track car, trailer, and tow vehicle. I understand the price vs value. Maybe I over spent...I usually do. BUT is this car for which I paid $40,650 and put another $16,000 of exactly what it needed (according to me) worth it?
As for posting FS on this forum, there could be someone who sees the value. I enjoy the comments more than the possibility of selling here anyway!!!

Ride Height
So you like the Cayenne like ride height of the stock TT? Good for you. With the Bilsteins, you can raise it to whatever height you like. And you think stock 12 YO shocks are better than new PSS10s?

Do you think $3k suspension, makes the car worth nearly $20k over market price? I think that is the better question.

having looked at 3 local (CANADA) $40k 996tt's for friend/neighbour this week, I can say that based on pictures your's is worth it...

Drifting
Most buyers prefer stock and then add mods but agree it would be cheaper and easier to buy with mods done. Most people on enthusiast sites mod but I'm sure the vast majority of over all owners leave stock.

Reversing *moderately* modded tt's back to *stock* reminds me of the old joke about sober alcoholics
Namely; "once you're a pickle you'll never be a cucumber again".
Eg Ill never be able to put my car back and I'm resigned to the fact i won't see a dime back. Thankfully I won't sell and that's a good thing. I think market value on my car is 30/35 tops! Lol! Good thing it wasn't an "investment".
