You must not want to sell it with a list that high . I don't blame you - keep it! Unfortunately, mods don't equal an increase in value - it can be seen time and time again. I'm not trying to be confrontational, it's just that I've followed the 996 Turbo market over the last 6 months to the point of obsession and know what these cars demand. I'd recommend a price closer to the low $40's if you want to sell. However, I WILL be happy if you sell in the $50K's - that's good news for all of us! Best of luck.

Well I hope you get somewhere near the price. We need to see these cars to start going up the curve! Good luck!

While I believe the 993 prices are a little over inflated at the moment overall cannot see them coming down hugely and can only think the trickle down effect will raise 996 prices. Its only a matter of time before the flame is lit and 996tt prices will go up. And yea a 996tt is not a 993 and cars are not an investment yadda yadda lol.

Agree. The number is just a starting point. Is it worth $55, $50, $45? Who knows. Time will tell

True, someone has to break the mold and have others to continue the trend.

I cannot comment on 996 values for I've never owned one therefore don't follow the market. My opinion only, the value of these cars is majorly driven by enthusiasts such as rennlisters so not sure why some tend to criticize what others are asking.

I can however testify to Alex's character and honesty. I know that's not in question but just mentioning this for potential buyers confidence. I bought my 2nd 993 from Alex last year site unseen and I must say it was represented 100% correctly. Pictures, Alex's description, and PPI was all I had to go by. Which, as you know doesn't always uncover cosmetic issues. Time did not allow travel from TX to VA to personally inspect. Alex is a perfectionist, I realize he is not the only owner of this 996 but if it had any issues he would have fixed them or fully disclose. He has the same disease must of us have!!!

Anyway, potential buyers, buy with confidence at whatever price you agree to. Anyone interested in this 996 who needs reassurance from a buyer who has experience with Alex feel free to PM me.

Good Luck Alex!!! And have fun cruising the Atlantic!!

That is mighty kind of you. That 993 was done right and it is good that someone like you who appreciates the work is now caring for a great Porsche. Thanks! Oh and what a nice picture with some new wheels I see!

Default Happy October

Still for sale after two 30 day stints on eBay. Asking $48,000 currently.

Maybe I will take it back to stock and sell the Fabspeed Mufflers, Bilstein PSS10s, sway bars and drop links, and GT2 Wheels separately. Then sell the TT for $38-$40,000.

33k is a great price, I would have expected 35. Good luck to the op.

It's unfortunate that some mods don't pay back as I'm thinking of installing bilstein hd's or oem suspension. I like the ride height as here in ny/nj you never know what the next road will bring.
