Harness bar or a roll bar?
I am thinking about getting a 5 or 6 point harness. It seems that I need to get either a harness bar or a roll bar to mount it.
Is it true that once you put a roll bar in, you won't be able to easily get it out so the back seats are gone? If so, I probably won't get it since my son often sit in the back. I'd like something that I can easily put in the day before an autocross or a DE.
If the harness bar is the way to go, what would you recommend? Also what harness do you like?
Thanks.

Shan,
The harness bar is Brey Krause as shown below:
The Porsche Tequipment roll bar is extremely difficult for the novice to remove:
If your son has to use the back from time to time, the harness bar is the way to go.
Sabelts for harnesses. Sabelt makes the harnesses for Sparco.

With a harness bar or a roll bar installed you will lose use of your back seats unless you intend on taking a harness bar out after track events, rollbar is the way to go IMO, we have the Porsche Tech Rollbar and its made well and finished nicely, good luck with your desicion.
